Russia Hopes Trump Understands That World War III Is “REALLY BAD”
By: Sorcha Faal, and as reported to her Western Subscribers
A thought-provoking new Security Council (SC) report circulating in the Kremlin today first noting President Donald Trump posted the declaration yesterday: “What Vladimir Putin doesn’t realize is that if it weren’t for me, lots of really bad things would have already happened to Russia, and I mean REALLY BAD…He’s playing with fire!”, says Security Council Deputy Chairman Dmitry Medvedev swiftly fired back: “Regarding Trump’s words about Putin “playing with fire” and “really bad things” happening to Russia…I only know of one REALLY BAD thing — WWIII…I hope Trump understands this!”.
Over the past week, this report notes, President Trump has posted numerous scathing remarks against President Putin for his responding to Ukraine launching over 2,300 drones targeting innocent Russian civilians—President Putin’s senior aide Yury Ushakov assessed: “Trump seemingly had not been briefed on the increase in massive terrorist attacks carried out by Ukraine against peaceful Russian cities”—and it was also revealed today: “Russian air defenses shot down 296 Ukrainian drones across multiple regions overnight, potentially marking one of the heaviest drone attacks against Russia during the full-scale war”.
While Ukraine escalates its terrorist drone attacks against innocent Russian civilians far from the front lines, this report continues, White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt proclaimed: “This war is Joe Biden’s fault, and President Trump has been clear he wants to see a negotiated peace deal…President Trump has also smartly kept all options on the table”—and was a proclamation joined by the factual assessment: “President Trump has boxed himself into a corner with Vladimir Putin over the war in Ukraine — and it’s not entirely clear how he gets out…The president is now stuck between a Ukrainian president whom he regards with great skepticism and a Russian president who won’t do what he wants”.
Earlier today, this report details, Ukrainian Dictator Vladimir Zelensky arrived in Berlin, where he declared in panic: “We are ready to meet at the level of leaders…The American side knows this, and the Russian side knows this…We are ready for the Trump, Putin, and me format, and we are ready for the Trump-Putin, Trump-Zelensky format, and then the three of us…If Putin is not comfortable with a bilateral meeting, or if everyone wants it to be a trilateral meeting, I don’t care…I am ready for any format”, then he grimly warned: “Russia mobilizes around 40,000-45,000 men for its military every month, while Ukraine mobilizes about 25,000-27,000”.
Greeting panicked Dictator Zelensky in Berlin, this report notes, was German Chancellor Friedrich Merz, who gravely observed: “Wars typically end because of economic or military exhaustion on one side or on both sides and in this war we are obviously still far from reaching that situation…So we may have to prepare for a longer duration”—a grave observation that joined the German newspaper Bild revealing: “The EU’s sanctions against Russia are not working…The Russian economy has continued to grow despite sweeping economic restrictions on Moscow imposed following the escalation of the the Ukraine conflict in 2022, including bans on seaborne oil shipments, financial and aviation-related restrictions, as well as the freezing of about $300 billion in Russian reserves…The 17th package of EU sanctions against Moscow are just a drop in the ocean, when compared with the projected $253 billion that Russia is expected to gross from energy and raw material exports this year”.
In knowing the truth that Russia is impregnable to all Western sanctions, this report concludes, warmongering neocon United States Senator Lindsey Graham has put forth his “Sanctioning Russia Act of 2025” bill, about which antiwar United States Senator Rand Paul, in his just released open letter “Imposing 500% Tariffs On Nations That Trade With Russia Will Backfire”, most factually warned:
If this bill were to pass, it would cause an economic calamity on a scale never before seen in our country.
In its insistence that Moscow be a permanent enemy of the United States, the foreign policy establishment is pushing to impose more punitive measures on Russia should they refuse to negotiate a peace deal with Ukraine.
The most consequential and outright reckless provision of the bill seeks to enact minimum 500% secondary tariffs on countries who trade with Russia.
Though the bill seeks to punish Russia, it will also punish America’s allies and even the United States itself.
The global policemen in Washington are so incredulous that they cannot force peace between Russia and Ukraine that they formally abandoned even the pretense that their meddling is in America’s interests.
Specifically, the bill directs the President to impose 500% tariffs on all goods and services imported into the United States from a country that “knowingly sells, supplies, transfers, or purchases oil, uranium, natural gas, petroleum products, or petrochemical products that originated in the Russian Federation”. This tariff is subject to increase by no less than 500% every 90 days, meaning some countries could face 1,000% tariffs in just a few months.
The country that will be harmed the most under this legislation will be the United States, both economically and strategically. If implemented, these tariffs would make U.S. trade with most of the world untenable, raise prices for American consumers, and risk further weakening the dollar.
This misguided legislation would drive many of our allies away and into the arms of other trading partners, including China. The bill certainly will not do anything to convince Russia to sue for peace in Ukraine. Rest assured that Moscow would welcome the United States sowing further division with its key trading partners.
Never underestimate Washington’s ability to make things worse.
