Why Do Churches Not Tackle Certain Topics?

You will hear the answer to that question if you listen to the video (a short clip taken from a larger video).

This does not mean that the churches are not doing God’s work in teaching people about being born again or in teaching people about Jesus and the things Jesus taught or in matters of ministry or even in various charitable works and service.  A church or ministry can be doing a lot of the right things.

It just means they are not talking about this problem. And, in my opinion, it has to do with the prevailing eschalogical views of many churches, which is a big term which simply means the views of what happens at the end of time.

Regardless of the reason, you need to know what is happening in the world.  The warning to Ezekiel is to all of us.

Ezekiel 33:1 Yahweh’s word came to me, saying, 2 “Son of man, speak to the children of your people, and tell them, ‘When I bring the sword on a land, and the people of the land take a man from among them, and set him for their watchman; 3 if, when he sees the sword come on the land, he blows the trumpet, and warns the people; 4 then whoever hears the sound of the trumpet, and doesn’t heed the warning, if the sword comes, and takes him away, his blood will be on his own head. 5 He heard the sound of the trumpet, and didn’t take warning. His blood will be on him; whereas if he had heeded the warning, he would have delivered his soul. 6 But if the watchman sees the sword come, and doesn’t blow the trumpet, and the people aren’t warned, and the sword comes, and takes any person from among them; he is taken away in his iniquity, but his blood I will require at the watchman’s hand.’

You need to know what is happening in the world and ask God what you are called to do in terms of prayer and action.

Romans 10:9 that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For with the heart, one believes resulting in righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made resulting in salvation. 11 For the Scripture says, “Whoever believes in him will not be disappointed.” 12 For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek; for the same Lord is Lord of all, and is rich to all who call on him. 13 For, “Whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved.”
