Perspectives

There are many ways to look at a situation.  For example, the body has a muscular, skeletal, nervous and digestive system and facts appropriate to each system are correct.

In the Old Testament, when the nation of Israel had sinned against God, outside forces, enemies, were used to deal with the nation.  The resultant suffering generally caused Israel to turn back to God.  But the complaint was…these guys are no more righteous than us, why are they beating us?  It’s like a parent disciplining a child, and the child says…”What about Johnnie?  He did it, too,” and the parent says, “I’m not dealing with Johnnie, I’m dealing with you.”

In a major matter Russia has the higher spiritual moral ground over the United States.  It is pro-family.  Currently, the US kills its children and attempts to pervert the living that are left.

To a politician more concerned about votes or money, “family” may not seem like an important issue.  It may be a very dismissive issue in the eyes of some.

But the first thing God did at creation was create a family and then give the command, “Be fruitful.”  In God’s eyes, family and children are important, very important.

And so regardless of what anyone thinks, in terms of things that are important to the Lord, Russia is in closer sync to God’s purposes in this respect than the United States.

There is a principle in scripture that when you are concerned with what concerns God, then He takes more interest in your affairs and prayer requests.  But you can’t defy God and his purposes and expect a good end.  Abortion and transgenderism have no place in the purposes of God.

Beyond that, the United States has been a covenant breaker and broken international law.

Like Sampson, there comes a time where what used to work doesn’t work any more.

Ecclesiastes 5:8  If thou seest the oppression of the poor, and violent perverting of judgment and justice in a province, marvel not at the matter: for he that is higher than the highest regardeth; and there be higher than they. (KJV)

Romans 10:9 that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For with the heart, one believes resulting in righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made resulting in salvation. 11 For the Scripture says, “Whoever believes in him will not be disappointed.” 12 For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek; for the same Lord is Lord of all, and is rich to all who call on him. 13 For, “Whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved.”
