O Jerusalem, Jerusalem

O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, thou that killest the prophets, and stonest them which are sent unto thee, how often would I have gathered thy children together, even as a hen gathereth her chickens under her wings, and ye would not!  Behold, your house is left unto you desolate.  For I say unto you, Ye shall not see me henceforth, till ye shall say, Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord.  Matthew 23:37-39 KJV

Jesus wept over Jerusalem the first time he came, because they did not recognize that he was sent to them.  I believe he would weep over the church today.

When Jesus came the first time, he went into the temple, and drove out the moneychangers.

And when he had made a scourge of small cords, he drove them all out of the temple, and the sheep, and the oxen; and poured out the changers’ money, and overthrew the tables;  John 2:15  KJV

Think about the headlines if he did that in today’s world.  Think about how the media would have beaten up Jesus for not being politically correct.

In the same way, if George Washington, the first President, came back today and gave a speech in Congress, he would probably be booed out of the Chamber by the majority.  How the righteous have fallen!

The point is, there is always a man that God works through.  People of the day do not necessarily receive the man that God sends.  It is not the man, but the people who are at fault for not recognizing the signs of the time.

So again, until Jesus comes, all that can happen is that men of character, men with specific skill sets given by God, men who are willing to stand up to ridicule and persecution, all that can happen is that God send some of those men and that they be found faithful.

Donald Trump is one of those men.  Whether a person agrees with everything he has said (do you even agree with your wife or husband 100% of the time?), still, no one can deny the fact that he wants to do good for the country.  He wants to stop the flow of radical terrorists into the country.  He wants to restore this country to being a nation of laws (if Hillary can do all she has done and nothing happens, we are no longer a nation of laws; we are no longer a nation where the law is enforced equally).  He wants to appoint conservative judges who will rule according to the Constitution, not legislate from the bench.  Donald Trump stands for the Second Amendment.  He stands with and for veterans.  He stands with and for Israel.  He wants to restore religious freedom and get rid of the restrictions of the 501 c(3).

So maybe he just says it like he sees it.  What is wrong with that?  You have probably thought it, but just been afraid to say it.  You were afraid of losing your friends, job, pastorate, salary, or retirement.  Or, maybe you were afraid of losing the plums and gravy train you have received through a corrupted system led by corrupted leaders.

He is seeking the position of a leader of a nation.  He is not seeking the position of a pastor or priest or counselor.  He cannot be all things to all people.  Even Jesus cannot be all things to all people.  Some will go to heaven.  Some will go to hell.  But Donald Trump is a strong leader who has the skills, talents, negotiating ability, experience, and business acumen to lead this nation and undo the damage of politicians who have run up the debt, opened the borders, destroyed the economy,  eaten away at freedom and the Constitution, all while lining their personal pockets.

Donald Trump has done what Jesus did.  He has gotten in there and overturned tables of political correctness and incited the fury of the money interests, just as Jesus did in his day when he overturned the tables of the moneychangers.

Donald Trump is like Cyrus.  Cyrus was not a Jew, yet he was instrumental in allowing the rebuilding of the temple.  Donald Trump may not fit the denominational trappings of any particular church or denomination, yet he wants to restore religious liberty, stop radical Islam, bring back the law and Constitution, restore the Second Amendment, improve the economy which will strengthen the family by allowing fathers and mothers to provide for their children, bring down the debt, help the plight of those in the inner city who are stuck in the cycle of welfare poverty and do many other positive things.

Read through the prophets of the Old Testament.  Think about if they operated in today’s world, what would be said of them.  If you don’t want to think about the Old Testament, go to the New Testament.  What about John the Baptist?

For Herod himself had sent forth and laid hold upon John, and bound him in prison for Herodias’ sake, his brother Philip’s wife: for he had married her.    For John had said unto Herod, It is not lawful for thee to have thy brother’s wife.  Mark 6:17,18  KJV

In today’s world, if a John the Baptist spoke out, think about all the comments that would be made in the media if anyone said anything today like John the Baptist said back then.

We have to actually look at the words of the prophets of the Old and New Testament, see how radical they were for their day, and then see that Donald Trump is not saying anything any more radical than the prophets said back then.  He is just saying the truth.

In a world full of lies, where liars are exalted and protected, those who say the truth have an uphill battle, even against those who should be standing for them.  Remember, the religious leaders of his day were responsible for setting up Jesus to be crucified, as well as the people and Romans at large.  Jesus was persecuted by those who should have welcomed him.

Donald Trump is being persecuted and fought by those who should be welcoming him.

If you do not want your house left to you desolate, if you do not want this nation destroyed by Hillary Clinton and the multi-national corporations and shadowy interests who pay her to be their puppet, get behind Donald Trump, support him, and encourage those you know to support him as well.   VOTE DONALD TRUMP!!!  STAND WITH DONALD TRUMP!!!  ENCOURAGE AND EDUCATE THOSE YOU KNOW TO VOTE DONALD TRUMP!!!
