Political Correctness – Tired of It?
Political correctness, intellectual dishonesty, a lack of courage, hiding behind policies, precedents, and fairness…these are the plagues of our time.
The war is not just against terrorism, the war is against those in the halls of Congress, the Judiciary, and the White House who would prefer to preside over the destruction of the United States of America than participate in the restoration of the United States of America.
There is personal cost to the restoration. There is a necessity to engage in action against the numerous forces seeking to tear down this nation. There is no cost to preside over the “decay gracefully” as Newt Gingrich names it. This is not a time to remain neutral.
On the eve of a Super Bowl game, everyone knows to win you need to be on the offense and defense. You just can’t play a neutral game and hope to win. Unfortunately, we are playing a neutral game in this country. We are acting as if all political ideas, all ideologies, including failed ones historically, should be given the same amount of time and attention. We don’t do that in sports, why do we do it in politics?
Would that we had some leaders from the past with true courage and guts to lead the nation, not just against the war on terror, but equally importantly, in the fight against those seeking to tear down the Constitution, free market, and liberty.
