I am planning to create a classifieds website, definitely not from scratch. What is the best way to go through this.
Do you recommend using content management system, like WordPress, Durpal, Joomla…etc?
I don’t know about a classifieds site as that has a certain format. For a site in general, I recommend WordPress. Some people use Blogger. There are certain terms and conditions with any platform you use. Some allow advertising. Some don’t. And as for content, I don’t know the rules of the various platforms as I don’t use them. I’ve tried them a little, but rarely use them unless I have to login to one of them to make a comment on a similar blog. For something as technical as a classifieds site, I’m really not the person to ask. Keep looking, I’m sure you will find the information you need.
