Thursday is coming, and Thursday is the day that there will be a closed door hearing of the House Intelligence Committee regarding Benghazi.    As stated early on in the discussion,  I said that Benghazi would prove to be The Valley of Fire for many.  We see the lies and contradictions.  Why?

Thursday is coming.

And as Thursday comes, those involved will have to do some soul searching, for a case like this, a hearing like this, is certainly a time “that tries men’s souls”.

Now for the atheist, that may be meaningless.  The atheist may consider that people don’t have souls, that they are nothing more than beasts of burdens that live and die, that some beasts of burdens may be more aggressive or deceptive or power hungrey than others, and thus deserve the right to rule over others, dominate others, and have all the money and power…but as for the soul…the atheist probably doesn’t consider such questions.  So, if there is no soul, no God, why bother to worry?  Thursday is coming, but so what?

I found some timely information written by someone who considered himself to be one of the “really smart people” who knew there was nothing after death.  Here is the link to the original page, and there are four links, all of which should be read and which are of  interest.  Contrary to what this individual believed, quite a bit happened after death.

Not only did he have personal experiences, he received information such as this:

If we change the way we are, then we can change the future which they showed me. They showed me a view of the future, at the time of my experience, based upon how we in the United States were behaving at that time. It was a future in which a massive worldwide depression would occur. If we were to change our behavior, however, then the future would be different.

That quote was taken from one of the four links, but because I think it is valuable to read all of the information, I’m not going to give a shortcut to the exact location. It is worthwhile to do your own digging.

The biggest problem in today’s world in the political arena is not as much an issue of right or left, conservative or liberal, republican or democrat, the biggest issue has to do with righteousness or not in the public arena.  Deception, fraud, and theft are used on a regular basis, it is obvious even to the most casual observer, and it is done with inpunity.

If a political or military figure knows the truth about a situation, they should speak the truth.  If not, why not?  This is the valley of fire.  

Reading what this individual learned should give cause for pause before telling untruths before the House Intelligence Committee.  There should be soul searching ahead of time.
