Thy Liberty is Law
Life is such that we reap what we sow and America will reap what she has sowed. In the reaping, she will learn lessons necessary to learn. If they already had been learned, we would be on a different pathway today nationally.
Some words from the song, American the Beautiful, came to me, in particular, the words, “thy liberty is law”.
That is a major lesson that has been lost and has to be relearned.
Thy liberty is law.
It is not just accepting anything, anytime, anyway.
It is not equalizing all things, good and bad, evil and virtuous.
It is not throwing everything into one pot and calling it the same.
Is it not making the thief the same as the industrious, hardworking individual.
It is not making ignorance, and being void of facts, equal with being able to present the facts in a sound case.
It is not making that which is illegal, legal.
Thy liberty is law.
That means there is right and wrong. There is legal and illegal.
In a nation that has valued freedom, and freedom of speech, that does not mean that everything spoken is of equal value.
“God d*** the United States of America” is not the same as,
“Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do.”
Two thieves were crucified with Jesus. One recognized that Jesus the Christ was the Son of God, capable of forgiving sins, and said, “Lord, remember me when you come into your kingdom.”
Evil bows before good. It does happen.
The reason it happens is that there is law.
Thy liberty is law.
The law works whether you believe it or not, “the wheels of God grind slowly, but they grind exceedingly fine.”
And when a nation has been ground down by its wrong choices long enough, like compost from decaying plants, it becomes the fertilizer again for life. When there has been enough suffering from wrong choices, people will begin again to choose aright.
Thy liberty is law.
That is really where this nation is now. It has forgotten that it has a Constitution, and that Constitution gives it the right to liberty…if….if….if…people remember thy liberty is law.
Invoke the law. Invoke it against all transgressions in the high halls of Congress, in the White House, in the Judiciary and Supreme Court.
Thy liberty is law. The law will bring liberty from lawlessness if it is invoked.
So why is it not invoked?
Thy liberty is law.
That is the answer.
Thy liberty is law.
Invoke it.
