There has always been controversy about COG because the idea is to preserve government after an attack, but what kind of government? There are other controversies about how carefully we would preserve and respect democracy and the Constitution in the wake of a nuclear attack.…

What are the plans?…We know that the threat is out there, we  know that the planners of COG are readying to respond…It is my personal belief that terrorists can’t extinguish America even if they got possession of a nuclear weapon. They only win if we ourselves extinguish those Constitutional protections and freedoms. If they through fear induced us to snuff out our basic freedoms they would have effectively destroyed us.

That is the big question. Can our Constitution be snuffed out as the government insists that “we are from the government, we are here to help you”.

The other big question is who would instigate this kind of an attack? We have been told over and over that it is “terrorists”. But what if those “terrorists” are in the halls of government itself? What if government has decided to war against and enslave its own people?

The question is not just what would happen in the case of a nuclear attack. The question would be…did the attack come from an enemy without? …or from an enemy within?

Would the whole scenario be a setup to get Americans looking without, while those within the halls of government preserve themselves in protected areas of the mountains, and as humanity without dies, do they intend to emerge as dictators of the world, to enslave those that remain?

Can we assume that this scenario is more about protecting the people? Or is it about protecting a rogue government intent on preserving itself, and emerging leaving the Constitution and freedom buried forever?

That is the question.
