Remember Newt Gingrich and his Jeffersonian principles? Remember how he wanted to remove judges who didn’t follow the law? Remember how he want to follow Jeffersonian principles? Remember how everyone fought him? Remember? Remember? Remember? Remember?
Well in light of Justice John Roberts’s deciding opinion, what do you think you now? Do you wish you had stayed with Newt Gingrich?
I always thought that Newt Gringrich was really spot on in understanding how big a problem judges can be if they walk outside of their jurisdiction under the Constitution and the necessity to remove bad judges and that that was one of his unique strong points that everyone else ignored.
Personally, I still wish Newt Gingrich were the candidate. He was spot on.
