It Only Takes A Day
It only takes a day
The sad fact is that it only takes a day to affect the next four years.
Obama does not need to be correct in his facts. He doesn’t need to win a debate. He doesn’t need to prove anything, really.
I hear commentators talk about Obama’s dismal record and how he has nothing to stand on, and no real statistics that show him in a favorable light and that he has been responsible for trillions in debt and on and on. All that is true. These commentators are correct. Unfortunately, they are preaching to the choir.
The problem is, no one cares among Obama supporters…and those are the ones that need to care.
Most working people, small business people, taxpaying people, conservatives, Libertarians, Tea Partiers, and Republicans pretty well understand the extreme danger of a second Obama term. They are actually “beside themselves” with concern.
The problem is, it doesn’t matter. It only takes a day. It only takes one day of Obama bringing the emotional fever of his followers to a pitch where they vote him in. After that, he doesn’t care. The voters will have done their job. And Obama, who mesmerizes them with his words, will continue to convince them that all bad things originate from some place “other than” the White House.
If you talk to Obama supporters, you will find that there are those who still believe that Obama was handed a “raw deal” from Bush and needs more time. Others have bought into the idea that rich people and Bush are the cause of all problems and that Obama will solve everything. These are the real people who are the real swing votes, and must turn against Obama in November, and so far, I’m not convinced that that many have budged to ensure that Obama will not win.
These people don’t care all that much about facts because the facts don’t matter to them. If they are on welfare, well, they are getting a check. If they are holding a government job, they will not want to shrink government. These are not small business owners who care about ObamaCare and the burden it will place on small businesses. These are people on Medicaid and Medicare, who cannot provide themselves health insurance so they want Obamacare. All the warnings conservatives are giving that Obamacare is not going to be “all that it is cracked up to be” is falling on deaf ears. Obama supporters may assume those warnings are more propaganda by the “rich” who want to stay in power.
I am not optimistic at all, given the current trajectory, that Obama will not be there another four years; if he runs with Hillary Clinton as VP, that probably will make it 12 years up and coming for Democrats. After all, by that time there will be so many people on welfare, way over the 50% mark, that the Democrats will be pretty well ensured of staying in power until this country collapses completely like Greece.
Obama supporters come from the newest breed of voters who decide “who wins”. It used to be that facts were important in political races. However, this new breed of electorate has been brought up on “American Idol” type popularity shows, where the least popular get voted out and the most popular win. This type of venue has nothing to do with facts. It has everything to do with the popularity of the moment. And what is popular today, may not be popular tomorrow.
Since it only takes a day, one day, to affect the next four years, and probably the total future of this country, shouldn’t anyone who is not an Obama supporter want to ensure that Obama is not re-elected?
As has been pointed out before on this blog and elsewhere, there is only one sure way to remove Obama and his minions. That is by legal means. Yes, we would hope that politicians would walk a higher pathway than the one they have. But if politicians have committed crimes, rather than being polite about the whole thing, ignoring the crimes, and then hoping to vote those corrupt politicians out, it is time for anyone who does not want Obama and his minions to continue in office to do something. What is that something? It is time to invoke the law, invoke the Constitution, and use legal procedures regarding criminal charges to remove these people.
Can I say that it is a mockery of the American people, especially those who work hard, follow the rules, show up at their respective jobs and follow the rules of those who hired them, to watch this game playing in Washington, D.C., where it is obvious major breaches of security and treason against the Constitution have occurred, and nobody can figure out what to do and nobody does anything.
Trust me, and most non-Washington D.C. people who read this will agree, if those kinds of things went on at our places of work, people would have been fired a long time ago and also, in some cases, would have been put behind bars.
It is ridiculous that nothing happens and then politicians wonder why the American people are cynical. Come on. No wonder the Tea Party people and others of that kind of thinking, regardless of the label they use, want to clean house. It is so tiring to watch the game playing in Washington, D.C., where nothing gets done. No wonder thinking people want to shrink government and expand the private sector. Government has proved itself hopelessly inept.
So while government and Congress continue to be inept, Obama is counting on that. Remember, it only takes a day. It only takes one day where Obama can play all the weaknesses and problems and community organizing cards, and push all his chips to the middle of the table to tip the scales in his favor for…just one day. He doesn’t need to prove anything to anyone long term. He just needs to pull off a one day win, that is all.
So, if anyone cares, and doesn’t want Obama there, support Sheriff Joe Arpaio and all related movements to investigate and remove Obama through legal means or he may win because all it takes is “just one day”.
