Pulitzer Prize, Anyone?
Those who read this blog regularly may remember the banner leading to information about a meeting of the National Press Club. Discussed was the topic of Barack Obama’s real family roots.
This has led Joel Gilbert, who spoke at that meeting, to challenge journalists to go back to their original creed. Quoted from the article linked below:
It states: “That journalists must be public trustees with the full measure of responsibility to the public. That accuracy and fairness are fundamental to good journalism. That a single standard of truth must prevail for all.”
Pointedly, he noted the credo states “that suppression of the news is indefensible.”
He states that if any journalist would dare to publish the story, they might win a Pulitzer prize which is given for “excellence in journalism”.
However, we know that currently the main people seeking to publish the truth about Barack Obama’s past (and a lot of other taboo mainstream media topics) are internet news media sites such as World Net Daily and similar news sites and blogs.
