I was listening to the news tonight and a rather well known media figure sounded confused as to why people don’t understand the seriousness of what Obama is doing.

Actually the musings about “how come?” are very simple to answer.  Very simple.  As Sherlock Holmes would have said, “Elementary, my dear Watson.”

A scripture says,

“For if the trumpet  give an uncertain sound, who shall prepare himself to the battle?”  I Corinthians 14:8, KJV

The media itself really, really, really softballs Obama and what he is doing.  For all the talk about the debt, waste, energy, immigration and the typical problems, there is SO MUCH that the media is ignoring that it is giving that “uncertain sound”.

The media ignores the birth certificate issue, it ignores the deeper questions about Barack Obama and his background, and stays in the “safe” territory of debt, taxes, energy, and immigration.  There is no real passion for the deeper questions, and so it does not produce “passion” in the listeners that Obama is any kind of danger.  The media cannot have it both ways.  If they softball Obama, they will get a softball response from the people listening to the media. 

I have said before that if Hitler were coming into power today, he would be making the talk shows in a “fair “ way and no one would be very concerned about him because, after all, didn’t we just see him on the “fill in the blank” show?

The reality of the universe is that it is not physical only.  There is a spiritual universe behind the physical one and if the media does not want to dip its foot into the spiritual truth of what is going on, some of what  they report will sound hollow.  I mean, haven’t you ever talked to someone who told you something and though the answer might have facts and be correct, you knew it wasn’t the real answer, the top answer, the biggest answer, the most truthful answer?  We are all geared to hear with a spiritual ear.  We can block it, we can ignore it, but it is there.  We do have more than just five senses.   “Five senses only” is a rather primitive teaching given to kindergarteners. 

So people listening know when there is not the “spiritual” ring of truth.  What Obama’s administration is doing is beyond “bad”, it is evil.  And if the spiritual aspect is not discussed, it becomes news that does not make the intended impact.

It becomes news that gives an uncertain sound.
