What can be done about all the corruption and scandals in Washington, D.C.?  What will be done?  Will anything be done about them?

It used to be that people who talked about corruption in Washington, D.C., were considered a “fringe” internet element that was ridiculed.

Now the evidence of the corruption has gone mainstream and is talked about in the nightly news, as well as in  major publications and websites.

The question is, “What can be done?”

The fact there is corruption in Washington D.C. is evident to all, at least to those who are even half-way paying attention.  The question is,  will anything be done about it?

When I hear professionals speak in the news, no matter what their background or degree may be, my question to them is, “What can be done?”

If all the professional lawmakers, judges, and federal employees can do is say that we have a problem, or discuss the facts of the lies and crimes, well, the most observing average citizens among us can see and say those things as well.

What we look to the professionals for, to the judges, to those who know law, to the Constitutional experts, perhaps even to the military is this:  What can be done?  Do any of them have answers?

For if all that people can say, whether professional or amateur, whether degreed or non-degreed, whether expert or non-expert, is that we have a problem, and those with the degrees, experience, and expertise cannot say any more than anyone else says, if those with the degrees, knowledge, and expertise about law have no solutions, then we have a problem.

Why does someone go to a doctor when they are sick?  They assume that the doctor, with his knowledge, experience, and verified degrees has a greater ability to restore someone to health than someone without the knowledge, experience, and degrees.

In the case of the many scandals going on in Washington D.C., if the politicians, lawyers, attorneys, judges, Constitutional experts, and military cannot figure out what to do, then we have a real problem.

Then basically, we have a situation and a country, where criminals can gravitate to the highest offices in the land, commit egregious crimes, and nothing happens.

Why wouldn’t a criminal want to be a politician if that were the case?  Washington D.C. becomes a zone where there are no repercussions for lies, deceit and crimes.  What criminal wouldn’t look on that as fertile territory to carry out crimes?  If nothing happens, then white collar criminals will gravitate to the highest offices in the land.

So, do we have any experts among us that can do something about all the scandals going on in Washington D.C.?

Or, are we just going to have hearings, hearings, and more hearings; questions, questions, and more questions; committees, committees, and more committees, and then in the end, nothing happens?  Does everyone go home at the end of the day and lies, crimes, and deceit go on as usual?

If not, then basically the greatness of the United States has ended and it has just become another banana Republic dictatorship.

Is Congress incapable of doing anything?  Has the rule of law ended in the United States?  Anyone?
